Meet the proprietor of TwoBears
Trading Post, Mark "TwoBears" Rutledge. Pursuing a life long dream led Mark out of West Texas and into the mountain village of
Ruidoso, New Mexico. Mark was influenced early in life by his Cherokee
Grandmother and always had dreams of living in the mountains.
Those dreams were put on the back burner when family matters came first
but while working a career in law enforcement Mark honed his skills creating artwork at night frequently selling it to Ruidoso area
merchants. When he realized there was a market for his artwork Mark
decided to hang up his badge, pursue his dreams and make a go of it
full time. His dreams of a life in the mountains were realized in May
2003 when the doors at TwoBears Trading Post were opened for business.
Time surely does fly by when you're having fun....we can't believe
we've already been in business here for 7 years!! During that time
we've met a lot of truly special people and made a ton of new friends
who we look forward to seeing year after year.
We continually strive to increase and broaden our inventory without loosing the authenticity so many of you are seeking. Mark and I are proud to offer you the quality, handcrafted products you've come to expect from TwoBears Trading Post. Check out the updates we've made to the website and let us know what you think!

Many of you know and might have even met a few of our wolves. Our "pack" has now grown to 5! That's Mark with Cherokee in the photo above. Cherokee is one of Bears offspring born March, 2009.
We frequently have new litters and sell them through the trading post for $500 per pup. If you are interested in owning your own wolf, give us a call and we'll put you on our notification list for the next litter we have available.
